Psychophonic Records
Psychophonic Records is an independent UK based label which specialises in alternative music, but is not specific to any particular niche genre. We work with bands from every style from modern metal to gothic punk rock. If it rocks, we’re interested in it.
The label was formed by Dan Peach in 1999, and started off by releasing compilation albums and selling CDs at underground metal gigs. After a few years and a huge amount of networking, Psychophonic Records has released full length albums by a number of artists and has established itself as a professional up and coming independent label.
Psychophonic records is involved in a number of projects including artist development, tour management, and special events, and prides itself on being a pro-active part of the UK’s alternative music scene.

Dan is the founder and owner of Psychophonic. He originally started the label to help his own band RAZORWIRE and a few local metal acts get off the ground. After a lot of hard work and a lot of learning from his own mistakes, he has made Psychophonic into what it is today.
Dan is also a DJ and a promoter and is responsible for many gigs accross the UK, numerous club nights and festivals such as GODLESS. |

EV
Ev is a talent scout for Psychophonic. She also helps with marketing, PR and general administration duties.
Ev is also the editor of UNSIGNED MAGAZINE, a photographer and graphic designer. She also has a regular slot on BBC Radio Stoke's SUBculture show where she promotes up and coming artists based in the Staffordshire area. |

Ev is into many alternative music genres but prefers indie, grunge, punk, grind/hardcore. Some of her favorite bands includes Queen Adreena, Sonic Youth, Smashing Pumpkins, Narcosis, Dillinger Escape Plan, Artic Monkeys, Mew, The Cure, Ramones, Sex Pistols, Kaiser Chiefs, Every Time I Die, OTEP, Nine Inch Nails, PJ Harvey, Deftones, Joy Division, Incubus, Muse, Pelican, Babes In Toyland, The Prodigy, Velvet Revolver, Scarling and Dresden Dolls.

NICKI
Nicki is head of promotions and advertising. She does everything from web based promotions to giving out flyers in the street.
Nicki is also a DJ and a photographer. She has also been part of Psychophonic since day one. |
