RAZORWIRE formed in 1997 in Wolverhampton, and soon afterwards were based in Stoke-on Trent.
In March 2003, they released their debut album 'League of the Godless' which received excellent reviews all over the world. A seemingly never-ending tour followed which took them all over the UK from Aberdeen to Penzance, and everywhere in between. They also played a handful of dates in Germany, Belgium and Holland. The band followed this up in 2005 with their critically acclaimed second album 'A Bullet Called Pride'.
In 2006, the band underwent a few line-up changes, but returned in 2008 with their third and most ambitious album to date- 'Wrapped In Lies'.
The bands music is a diverse mix of traditional metal, rap, punk and hardcore with loads of energy. Razorwire have been likened to artists such as Anthrax, One Minute Silence, Therapy?, Stuck Mojo and Suicidal Tendencies, but have forged their own sound and identity by constantly pushing themselves forward musically, and never being afraid to experiment and evolve.
This band was started by Dan Peach (RAZORWIRE) as a cheeky nod to many of the goth, glam & punk bands he grew up with such as the Misfits, The Sisters Of Mercy, Siouxsie & The Banshees, 45 Grave, Motley Crue, The Cult, Alice Cooper, Backyard Babies, 69 Eyes, Iggy Pop, Billy Idol etc.
The debut album 'I Use My Powers For Evil' was released across the UK on Halloween 2006, and has been a phenomenal success, taking LESBIAN BED DEATH from being a fun side project to something far bigger and more important. To date this album is by far the biggest selling release from Psychophonic Records.
The band have played across the UK, and mainland Europe. A second album is in it's early stages, and hopefully it will be out late 2008.
Manchester's ALLERJEN formed in 2002, and has spent the last few years touring and developing their skills resulting in debut album “No Guts, No Glory”.
Allerjen is a heavy metal workhorse. They have done numerous tours, and have supported established giants such as Sepultura, Entombed, Raging Speedhorn and Evile. Their blistering live performance has earned the band slots at Festivals such as Godless and Damnation, as well as constant gig offers across the UK.
The rise of Allerjen hasn’t been without its trials. They signed to a large American label, and the album sat in limbo until the band managed to sever the ties. They re-named and re-mastered the album, and secured a 2008 UK release through Psychophonic Records.
Burnt are a 5-piece metal band hailing from Stoke-on-Trent, with a unique debut album released on Psychophonic records entitled "Rephrase The Lie" and the second album "Vertabreaker" due to be released this May,
Burnt are looking to rip a hole through the metal world! Drawing influences from Racer-x and Meshuggah, aswell as being handpicked to play with bands such as Bullet For My Valentine, Caliban,Sikth, Skindred,Mendeed,Stampin' Ground and more Burnt have the knowledge and are gaining the reputation to make their mark on the world's metal scene.
Long Time Dead are an 'Old School Thrash Metal' band from Stoke-on-Trent.
In their early days, they were 'The Rising Butt Hinges", before (wisely) changing their name to LONG TIME DEAD in 2002. They released their debut album 'Universal Cry For Help' in 2004 which was well received.
The band are working on their second album which they hope to record in the latter half of 2008.
.
HUDSON were formed from the ashes of Pop Punk band 'Ginger Wig'.
The trio from Stoke-on-Trent released their debut album 'Question Everything?' in 2005 and it was well received. They played across the UK to promote the album, and shot a video for the track 'Get Out While You Can'.
In 2007, founder member, guitarist/vocalist Rich Kelham left the band to move to America. Bassist Rick Loynes has taken over lead vocal duties, and the band has recruited two new guitar players creating a new HUDSON. The band are still playing regularly, but no second album has yet been planned (unless they are keeping it quiet).

HEBEPHRENIC were formed in Stoke-on-Trent in the summer of 2002.
When asked to list their influences, HEBEPHRENIC respond with a number of varied bands from American Head Charge to Metallica, Rage Against The Machine to Slayer, Aphex Twin to The Dresden Dolls and Dry Kill Logic to Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
The band's debut album was recorded in seven days and produced by John Webb. It featured the catchy, riff based metal the band was originally famed for on the local scene. The band's follow-up EP, 'Disillusion Through Compromise' was recorded in four days at The Lizard Lounge and sold in a limited run at local shows by the band.
.
Bristol based FOURWAYKILL formed in 1997. After numerous demos, they released a seven track mini album '24 Hours To Die'.
The band toured intensely, both as headliners and as a support act for bands such as Anthrax, Panic Cell, Napalm Death and Carcass. They truly cemented their reputation as one of the best Thrash Metal acts in the UK.
The band recorded a debut album but split up in 2007, and it was never released. Guitarist 'Jay Walsh' now plays for Blaze Bayley (ex-Iron Maiden).
.
Head Hung Low formed in Nottingham in 2002.
Their music was a fierce hybrid of Extreme Metal and Hardcore. Their debut album 'Audio Killing Spree' was recorded and mixed by vocalist/guitarist Darren Jackson and earned the band some fantastic reviews, including a storming 10/10 in Powerplay magazine.
The band played across the UK to promote the album. During this time, Darren switched from vocals to guitar and the band found a new singer who joined the band for a short period of time. The band split up in 2005.

Previously known as the Darkheart Boys, FALLING RED arose from the ashes of punk rock outfits 'Waste of Space' and 'Acid Monkey'.
Their volatile sound comes across as a blend of early Guns N Roses and Rolling Stones on PCP. This is sleazy trash rock at it’s most dangerous.
The debut album “Darkhour” was recorded in 2004 at Linden Studios, and was engineered/co-produced by Guy Forrester. The album was unofficially released through Psychophonic Records. It was available at gigs and via the internet, and an official release date was set for April 2006. However the band found a new manager, who advised them to withdraw all copies of the album and start again with new material. To date there has been no new album from FALLING RED.
