Psychophonic Records was founded in 1999 by Razorwire rhythm guitarist Dan Peach. The label started by releasing compilation albums comprising of unsigned underground rock and metal bands.

Psychophonic Records also sponsored numerous gigs, tours and mini-festivals including the now legendary Godless festival. The label grew and started releasing albums and EP's for numerous bands including Razorwire, Fourwaykill, Hudson, Burnt and Lesbian Bed Death, to name but a few.

The label was built on a D.I.Y ethic, and operates in a way which effectively helps bands to sign themselves and encourages gig swaps, record trading, and generally everyone helping each other out. We believe in the saying “if you support the scene, the scene will support you”.

Psychophonic records is always looking for new bands, people and companies to work with on all levels.
